Do you use any chemicals?

Not on glass or panels — those are cleaned with 100% deionised pure water, which lifts dirt on contact and dries spotless with nothing left behind. Pressure washing is cold water, with a targeted treatment only where moss, algae or weeds need it.

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry public liability insurance and work to risk assessments and method statements on every job. For commercial sites we provide RAMS and documentation in advance.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not. As long as we can get to the property — side gates unlocked and clear access — we can work while you're out and let you know when we're done. For pressure washing we'll need an outside tap available.

Do you cover my area?

We're based in Berkshire and cover the whole Thames Valley — Reading, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, Bracknell and Wokingham — plus London and the South East. For larger commercial work we travel further afield. Send your postcode and we'll confirm.

Can I book more than one service at once?

Yes, and it's usually the most efficient way to do it — windows, panels and paving in a single visit means one trip, one quote and less disruption for you.

How high can you reach when cleaning windows?

Accepted Answer

Our water-fed poles reach up to three storeys, all from the ground. That covers most homes and smaller commercial buildings, including glass above conservatories and extensions.

Why do the windows dry without being wiped?

Because the water is purified to zero dissolved minerals, there's nothing left on the glass as it dries. Ordinary tap water leaves the minerals behind — that's what causes spotting and streaks.

Do you clean the frames and sills too?

Yes, every visit. Clean glass in dirty frames never looks finished, so frames, sills and doors are brushed and rinsed alongside the panes.

How often should windows be cleaned?

Most customers choose a regular 4-weekly or 8-weekly visit, which keeps glass, frames and sills consistently clean. One-off cleans are no problem either.

Will pressure washing damage my driveway or patio?

Not when it's matched to the surface. We adjust pressure and technique to the material — block paving, concrete, natural stone and tarmac all behave differently — so the surface comes up clean without being scarred.

Will the moss and algae come back?

Accepted Answer

Eventually — they're living things, and shaded, damp corners will always regrow in time. Treating the surface slows regrowth well beyond washing alone, and re-sanding and sealing block paving makes it harder for growth to take hold in the joints.

Do you need access to an outside tap?

For pressure washing, yes — we need an outside water supply on the day. For window and solar panel cleaning we bring our own purified water.

How long before I can use the surface again?

You can usually walk on it straight away, and it dries fully within a few hours depending on the weather. If we've re-sanded or sealed the paving, we'll tell you how long to keep vehicles off.

How often should solar panels be cleaned?

In this part of the country, two to four cleans a year keeps panels performing well. The right number depends on your location, roof pitch and how much dust, pollen or bird activity you get — we'll give you an honest recommendation, not an upsell.

Will cleaning damage my panels?

No. Reach-and-wash poles with soft brushes and pure water are gentle on the glass and the seals. We never use abrasive pads or high-pressure jets on panels.

Why pure water rather than soap?

Ordinary water leaves mineral spots as it dries. Purifying it to zero minerals means it dries streak-free, and because nothing is left on the glass, dirt is slower to return. It's the method used across professional solar cleaning.
